Ebay Laptops from China

I have been wondering about this for a while, On ebay there are a lot of laptops being sold by people with seemingly random usernames with no feedback on Ebay. Location bejing-ireland or similar. Whats the story with these? People do seem to bid for them, It looks like a rip off, but does anyone actually know someone who got one of these extremely cheap lappys?

Yeh, but anyone who bids has only 1 or 2 feedback. And at that the feedback is usually out of date so you cant see what they've bought or they have bought something for about 1 euro...

It looks a lot like the iPOD scammers TBH.
Feedback on eBay doesn't mean a great deal - they can just set up numerous accounts and sell between them.
When you see methods of payment "Bank deposits / transfers or Postal orders." only.. hmmm!! oO

Dont touch anything on eBay from the Far East especially China or Taiwain.
There are a lot of scammers out there. It might arrive but will it work?
Also a lot of them sell items which are "remanufactured" which actually means reconditioned.
They also charge very high shipping prices for fast Airmail....then the package arrives 6 weeks later litererally on "A Slow Boat From China "

EG : Pay US$56 postage for Airmail (3-5 days), Seller sends it Surface costing US$4 and it takes 5 1/2 weeks.

BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad:

Hint: look at the payment methods. No comeback at all if you don't recieve duds.
