anyone out there have a G4 powersupply? It a 533Mhz model. Its gathering dust and id like to see if its a runner.

As luck would have it I have a G3 tower, but the 533 model uses an extra line of juice, 22pin connector :(

might do, id really like to get her running though, she looks so sad :(

I have 2 ADC flat panels I need to test and thats the main reason I got this unit. I even bought an ADC card as the G4 been stripped.

Yo dont know anyone with a Mac that has an ADC connector on it that I can try two monitors on by any chance?

do a bit of digging for this. i had a PS blow on me months back on a G4 400. nothing Peats had in stock worked. I had to order one from the states in the end. the 533 might not be as awkward but make sure before you spend that you're getting the right part.

The G4 powermacs were named things like Quicksilver etc, what's yours ? Can you link to a picture of it.

I have a couple of PSUs here that might do the job.

its the 533mhz digial audio version:

    http://www.lowendmac.com/ppc/g4-133.shtml

Basically it cant use the PSU from a G4 500 as they dont have the extra 20V line for the ADC port.

IIRC the quicksilvers have the same PSU connector as the 533etc AND an additional 4pin, identical to what you find in modern PC boards.
