Anyone would reccomed a website for buying computer parts which is cheaper than komplett?

well like there is www.dabs.co.uk but when u convert it over and the cost of vat and the delivery to ireland workds out more expensive.....

They might not be cheaper for everything but its work comparing in case they are for some items. Plus elara allow you to collect so that would save delivery charges.

Try pixmania.com. Their prices are probably very close to Komplett's though.

www.discount-computers-ni.co.uk are cheaper for some things.

I've used www.jes.de for quite a while now, if you're going to be buying a lot of stuff it tends to be cheaper

Dabs is excellent if you're ordering lots of stuff.

I bought some stuff like a power supply and processor from www.savastore.com and it was a good 33% cheaper then every other place i had looked - my AMD 3700+ was almost half as cheap as some places I had looked - the prices arent cheap upon all components but there are a few complete bargains to be had.

not always, many items that komplett dont cater for are available and sometimes cheaper. EG: a dirt cheap chassis at Komplett is about €75 but at dabs its £15. Speaking of which, my latest purchase was a combination of both dabs & Komplett.

Heres my list in order of cheapy-ness:

Dabs
Scan (have to ring up to order, apparently)
Ebuyer (would be #1 -some v. cheap stuff, but you gotta have UK address)
Komplett
Jes.de
Elara (quite expensive, really)
Peats (these guys pissed me off lately... damn near stole my earphones)

theres a couple others I check, but they're only good for once-off, single item cheapos and often are more expensive.
