We should probably have a missing persons forum, it's a common enough occurance.

It'd be a nice idea, but would be too often overlooked. Unless, there was a more frequent use. Myself and others have suggested a Missing/Found forum, but nothing has ever come of it.

Missing persons cases always have an extra sting around XMAS. I hope he has been found and is well.

So, I'd suggest putting your weight behind http://www.missing.ws/ . (Free ad. if you have a website, or perhaps add a link to your sig.,etc.)

Friend had spotted him, and rung the police, and the police said that he had been found already and was already back at home.

That's mad, I know that guy! He was in my class.
He is back, I was talkin to him in my school, he used to go there last year. He's grand now all is a-ok. It's so weird seeing his name up there though.

Maybe a forum in activism would allow the various groups involved to co-ordinate and organise for things like websites and awareness.
