Does anyone know roughly how much this would cost. A friend of mine has an unused Sony Vaio laptop that the screen is broken on. She smashed it after buying it a year ago and never got it fixed. She said i can have the laptop for €50 if I'm interested. Pretty high spec on it, so was wondering if it might be worth my while.

Well it wouldn't be a DIY job, so i'd have to have it done professionally. Its a 15" LCD Screen.

i think it might cost 400 to 600 for a screen to be replaced. Depends on model, how old it is etc...
