    I have only recently started to use Azureus, and am getting download amd upload speeds of about 10kb/s, is there any way to improve this as my connection is 1mb down and 128 up.

    Yes, there is. It's asked roughly every day on this forum.

    What you need to do is allow other users to connect to your PC to communicate with you without you communicating with them first. This involves sending all connections coming to your modem on ports 6881 ( or any other random port number you want to use ) directly to your PC where Azureus picks them up.

    Im sure there will be some guide on this site to help you set it up http://www.portforward.com/

    Failing that if you borwse through the forum im sure theres a ton of explanations on how to do it.
