"Making money from the internet"

Ok, my dad got a letter the other day, inviting him to a free dinner in a prestigious hotel, followed by a meeting showing him how to make money off the internet.

I personally am fully sceptical of this organisation, and could imagine them arriving in posh suits and deadly carsh, showing how wealthy they have become from the scheme etc.

I am sure they would require people to make an initial payment before they can start earning "serious" money,

but what exactly is the set-up how do they say you can earn money, is it through surveys? or what?

For franchises, dinners are ok because no single person could do the amount of work involved because of the amount of product.

The internet has a huge multiplier effect where an automated sales site could replace lots of bodies. Bottom line, if someone could make that much money off the internet then they would not tell others how. But selling dinners is a great way of making money off the internet - all you need is a powerpoint presentation !!

    It's backed by ebay btw.
Just read the fine print, you've to sit through the feckin 90 minute conference before you get your meal and the organizer might not be given on the day :(

Hmm. A mate of mine rang me last week and told me a letter had arrived into my old house (from five years ago) about some invitation to a dinner about the internet or something. Must be this. I'll grab it tomorrow night and scan it in. God knows how they got that address, though I was a little dumber with my address back then.

Was wondering that myself, I'd love to know which website sold out my information to a third party. The only time I've used my real address has been ordering stuff online so it has to be 1 of 3 websites.

so does anyone have any idea how they think they can make money from the internet, what do they say to these people?

I'm also wondering what stupid cúnts gave them my name and address.
Surely I can contact them and demand this information?
