    hey all.
im doing a project about the Toyota corporation for college.
Toyota globally and their market entry strategies..
I found it difficult to find info about the market entry strategies.. Even simple things such as in Ireland, who owns the franchise?
Can anyone direct me on where i could possibly find such info.
    Thanks.

Check your library for any financial reports too.

If the library doesn't have any, give them a ring (see contact us http://www.toyota.ie/) and ask.

Toyota Ireland holds the rights here.
Article here about others in Irish market
    http://archives.tcm.ie/businesspost/2005/07/17/story6487.asp

Dublin businessman Tim Mahony owns the Toyota and Lexus franchises for Ireland. The 72-year-old entrepreneur also owns the Fota Island Golf Course in Cork and Mount Juliet Golf Course in Co Kilkenny, where world number one golfer Tiger Woods won the American Express tournament last year.

Mahony owns Killeen Group Holdings, an unlimited company set up in 1989,which manages theToyota and Lexus franchises from its headquarters off the Naas Road in Dublin. When Mahony and his brother bought the Toyota franchise it had a 0.1 per cent share of the new car market. However, it has climbed as high as 18 per cent during Mahony's 32 years as Toyota's distributor in Ireland and remains the top selling brand here with about 12 per cent of the market. Lexus is a niche brand at the higher end of the market, holding a 1 per cent share.
