Yes, when wet they're as legal as the mushrooms you buy in your supermarket. I'm not sure where sells them, but go to any stoner store and ask someone there

    Discussing their legality is fine.

Anyone bringing up where to buy them or asking where to buy them will just end up banned. The rules of this forum strictly prohibit asking and answering these questions. Please use some common sense when discussing this. I don't want to have to ban people. :)

Fair enough. I was informed the other day that its legal to buy them but illegal to eat them.

Nope. It's illegal to dry them or prepare them for consumption. But it's not illegal to actually consume them. I suppose that's a technicality really but it is possible to just eat them raw, they don't taste the best though.

There's been so many threads about his lately (and ok - I've started a good bit of them) but there's a quite active one over on the Galway boards. The shop in Galway that sells them has a letter from a government office (Department of Justice maybe) laminated on their counter that states the legality of buying/selling mushrooms.

Yeah it's perfectly legal to purchase non prepared mushrooms.

    cut n paste

Some people are saying that Psilocybe cubensis is not listed as being illegal. These people are then saying its legality is a "grey area" since it is not specifically listed as being legal either! The common edible mushroom Agaricus bisporus is not listed as being illegal, it is also not specifically listed as being legal, most species of plant and animal are not listed in law, therefore they are legal by default. Nobody questions the legality of Agaricus bisporus because it is not specifically mentioned in any laws.

Cows milk is also perfectly legal to sell and consume in its "unprepared form", but if you extract the morphine from it it is illegal. In the states they refer to them as carriers.

If they're legal than why are we not allowed discuss where to buy them?

Who's at risk when little Johnny jumps out a window and the parents ask who told him where to buy them?

Why are we not allowed to discuss where to buy mushrooms, yet there is an entire forum devoted to alcohol? Is it just a case of that's what the owners want? If so, that's fine, just wondering.

I don't anyones at risk for telling someone where to buy a legal product. Just like that thread posted here a while ago. Some guy in Floriday asked on a message board where to buy a certain type of ammo then he went and bought it. He ended up killing a few people.

I'd rather keep my sanity. If I was doing mushrooms everyday i'd turn into one.

It's not going to be said again, you can spout off as much as you like about how they're legal and we should be allowed where to discuss them but it's not happening. We might get a legal high forums, but if I have to listen to "Buy why if they're legal   " any more, I might get ban happy just so I don't burst some blood vessels, ok. Admins don't want it discussed, it is not discussed. Go find another website if you want to talk buying. This is in the charter, THAT MEANS SHUT UP OK!

And they got onto lowtax about it and newspapers ran articles about how he was bullied online, what's your point?

Exactly my point i was going 2 say. Seems 4 intelligent people agree with me.

    And yet these idiotic comments:
    Silly boy.

 He's insulting 5 people on this thread including me. What a stupid idiot [in my personal opinion].
