I just saw the new FG episode. 414/504 - whatever you want to call it. It's called PTV.

I thought this was a really good episode. There was quite a few good jokes.

I loved the bit where Peter says
Don't tell me you never thought the pentagon looks like a gigantic anus!

    :D:D

I saw it on Global TV here in Canada. I thought that it was a really good episode but it began to falter after
    the song
imo. Still, one of the better episodes of FG in the current run.

    I especially liked
Lois screaming "Do you like to eat red carpet?"
    and
the Naked Gun style opening. Also, the war has begun between the Simpsons and FG. Again.

And two funny episodes of American Dad.......in a row!

    :p

The opening was one the the best I have ever seen on Family Guy. And when we say Homer I just couldn't stop the laptop from bouncing off the bed and onto the floor !

Absolutely brilliant episode. Ended a little abruptly, but some great gags throughout.
Like the Bin Laden opening, and Peter trying to escape on the jetpack :D

    absolutely wonderful

The internet dude! The source of all!

Absolute cracker of a beginning. I almost wanted to turn it off after as there was no way the rest of the episode was going to be up to that standard.
I didn't, and it wasn't, but it was still brilliant.

The beginning was inspired. The rest of it wasn't half bad either.

Opening sequence was fantasitc, rest was dissapointing apart from a few gems.

Best opening to any tv show EVAR! Brilliant, really really brilliant.

That was a great one. Felt very fragmented, but made up for it with industrial strength humour.

Brilliant episode. One of the best yet.

Although my views may be slightly distorted by the fact that there hasnt been a new episode in a month or so and I'm just glad its back.

They always come back with the goods after taking a break!

The intro was the one of the best ever, IMO. (especially because it didn't have the normal intro music)

Anyone see the latest one ?
I thought it was miles better than last weeks.

Returning to some old gags but still very funny.

Yeh was a lot better than last week, only good part of last week was the intro.

Thought the whole A-Team thing was hilarious, Peter as Hannibal cracked me up

    Spoilers mate! Use the spoilers!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55,571 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

Feck that... no need for spoilers there.

If he had said something like "The part where Peter died, never to return, cracked me up" (**) then that might justify spoilers.

    (**) He doesn't...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,117 ✭✭✭✭MrJoeSoap

Well I haven't seen the episode yet (30 mins and counting...) but if an obscure A-Team or Hannibal joke pops out of nowhere and I don't laugh I'm going head hunting!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,503 ✭✭✭Makaveli

Tis far from obscure in this episode.
Loved the Rocky bit, second time this season (production season 4 before someone moans) that they've had a Rocky reference.

They really like pushing those boundaries,
like when the professor in the wheelchair is fighting with his wife (also in a wheelchair) and he roles into her saying he didnt want to have to hit her, and then the make up sex. Had me in stitches.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 28,128 ✭✭✭✭Mossy Monk

not a bad episode. wasnt as good as last weeks though
the whole a-team thing was great right down to when they delivered Brian to his exam. something about Peter with the cigar in the van. made me laugh
