Does anyone know if you can buy a kit to build your own road rack for 19" gear? The real ones are so expensive.

I think the reason they're expensive is to protect the expensive gear inside...

If you're really desperate you could buy one of those 10u trolleys from a DJ supply store and butcher it to your specifications.
