The first computer game to get me truely hooked. I played it so long (on the spectrum48k) I blew the tube in the telly! It was written by Mike Singleton and apparently two sequels were made to complete a trilogy. I've also played part two, "Doomdark's Revenge", but never saw the third part out. Was it ever released? Comments?

It had such a great plot, put simply good vs evil; the first 'War on terror'. I'd like a modern version with total war battles!

He stands at the Tower of the Moon, looking Southeast to the Downs of Shadows.
It is dawn and Luxor is utterly invigorated. The Ice Fear is quite cold. Luxor is slightly afraid. He has with him the Moon Ring.

Luxor the Moonprince commands no warriors and no riders.

Thanks for the link, I took your advice and downloaded LOM and played it through.
To victory of course... in only 1H 30mins. Beat that!

Seriously though, isn't it scary when you still remember the key commands after 15-20 years?

True, true. It took ten minutes to load the game, crashed often during loading(always at the end) and saving and loading games was like playing roulette.
    Beyond........Shadowfire

I'm happy to say, I've won it both ways: Militarily and by breaking the crown.

Ah, the ZX Spectrum days, they had some damned good games back then. When gameplay was more important than graphics.

    NTM
