Thats probably the wrong title for this thread! but here it goes anyway...
I've got a DJ mix from one of my mates, i tought he was going to give it me as a single mp3 file but he gave it me as a .cda with the tracks split up into 14 seperate tracks. What i need to do is to mix them down to a sinlge 1 track mp3 file.

Does anyone know of a piece of software that can do this?
I know i could probably do it with Cool Edit, but i know there has to be a simple way to do it?

nice one tman, that works a treat. The free trial thingy...it says its a 30 day free trial. Granted that means i can use the program for free for 30 days but do you know if the mp3 file will work after the 30 day free trial period, i mean do you know if there is some code put into the mp3 to make it unplayable after 30 days?

You'll be fine. No such code exists on an mp3. wma has copy protection implemented on it alright.
