[PC] PES5 League

hey all,

just had a suggestion for ye all, ive set up a boards league on leaguerepublic.com for us (just waiting on them to make it public should be the next day or so), hopefully we ll start it next sunday (13th, fa cup on tomorrow), and it ll give people time to sign up. it ll be the usual league format two matches against each other over so many weeks, probably playing more than one match each night as well.

id say club teams would be better, more choice but if the general concenus is different we ll change it, just post your PES screen-name and team choice and ill add you to it.

I propose a difference this year , none of us play with top teams .

Most of us would be used to playing top clubs when online so what not change this instead of the usual Barcelona , Real Madrid , Arsenal , Chelsea , AC Milan .

How about teams like Espanyol , Getafe , West Ham , Fulham and Brescia .

Whatever it is i'll be in it : BigEars , club ?

I usually play random so would prefer lower teams makes it harder with their default settings.

I know , this idea would probably suit you more than anyone else but I just feel it would be good to have a bit of change in the teams most of us play for once .

Sure we might have our own different tactics when we play as Barcelona or AC but I doubt many people have tactics for Espanyol and would have to find better tactics for them as they go along .

But as you said , its up to Joe .

crap, i knew id forget summit, yeah usual rules 10 mins, random, no ex or pens.

i do like the idea of lower teams, it would probably level things a bit, would spurs be classed as a mid team? ill take them if not. maybe 10 teams ruled out utd, chelsea, arsenal, pool , bayern, real, barca, ac, inter, and juve? anyone else i missed. by not starting til a weeks time at least hopefully we ll have all these decisions settled.

This sounds like a great idea, I'd love to join the league. I'm still waiting for my copy of PES5 for the PC to arrive but when it does I'll take a look through the teams and pick one for myself.

How is the league managed anyway? Is it just a case of someone reporting the score back to the league organiser and him manually putting something together? If so, I would be more than happy to put something together in PHP to make the league a bit easier to manage.

Think that would be useful?

It's a great simple ladder and uses the launcher system fantastically
It also means there are players constantly availible to play

Ladder suck unless played in a community , and i have seen that lot play in channel some shouldnt even be allowed use the internet let alone play online.

I'd be sulkin that lost & not bother, lol.
Loser should just have to confirm when he logs in, winner should have it entered.

There is no issue with this, as if you don't report it, you get a yellow card.
Three of those and you are banned from the ladder.

Some people are retarded on the channel, no doubt, but you can just play the people you know. It'd work a whole lot easier
