unless they are spammers looking for an active address to spam or unless they advise to send money for courier/processing fees or ask for specific bank or card details then whats to be suspicious of. Anyway it's only a competition... I usually ignore those sort of things.

this http://www.adfireworks.nl/ems2/subs...cbdbeffjgbhxwqk resolves to 194.109.35.12 which is the Canonical name of "dh-hosting.nt4all.nl" someplace in the Netherlands.
Haven't checked who they are tho!!

Obviously the most obvious answer.... reminds me of a time I had to try and repair a printer that had no power.... Firstly I changed the fuse... then I changed the power cord... then I tried different wall sockets.... then I searched for anything visible causing a problem inside the machine.... then I realised the machine had an on off button.... :o

could be legit!! I mean lots of outsourcing these days... Pigsback for instance used to do surveys but these days the serveys are not on a pigsback domain but 3rd party sites.. this could be the same. adfireworks.nl seems to be some kind of affiliate site. Maybe Dell cant be arsed setting this up.

All they seem to be getting is an email address... although then again... it could be the beginning of a scam... once they have your details you "win" the laptop but have to pay shipping to which you log on and give credit card details to pay for the shipping :D
