    Hey,

Firefox will save my username but refuses to save my password for the following website: http://elearning.ucd.ie/?bbatt=Y .

Any idea how to force it to do so?

EDIT: the login page has javascript that encodes the password as base64.. is this part of the problem?

    Thanks.

i gave up trying to get it to save a while ago, let me know if you get a fix.

it also won't save the UCDconnect password (as found on www.ucd.ie)

Just had a look at it. I'm normally pretty strick about cookies and didn't accept the cookie it tried to give me. I was sent to a page basically telling me to enable cookies. It then told me how to enable cookies, but it assumed I was using Internet Explorer, even though it never mentioned Internet Explorer. (it jsut referd to it as "your web browser").

Same with Library Catolgue user account, same with pigsback password...Just the way it is I guess?

Funnily enough 24hour banking saves your login number (not the pin obviously) but that is not the way the in IE!

try the "remember password" bookmarklet from:

    Or use Opera

I use it for all my UCD sites (Commerce Blackboard and elearning Blackboard) and the password helper works fine.
