I, m setting up my sky decoder for fta ,i have dish connected with a cambridge AES 2 universal lnb ,it says on label universal 9.7ghz to sumthin ,the rest of lnb label is unreadable, i just tried basically pointing dish east , no signal so far, just said searching channels,on tv.I just want to know is this lnb compatible with sky digital, i know i can buy a universal lnb in peats 42euro digital compatible. i understand reciever takes time to register and pick up channels, i have installed systems before.lnb is a few years old.

If it's a Universal LNB (i.e. digital ready) then it will have a freq range of 10.7 - 12.75GHz and/or Local Oscillator freqs of 9.75 and 10.6 GHz.
