    Hi all..

Welcome to the WIT College Forum! Please, try to get along. If you don't like someone, ignore them. If you have an issue with their post, please hit the "Report" button and one of the moderators will respond to your report.

N.B Its worth noting that members of WIT Staff including lecturers frequently read this forum. Some staff members have registered acting as "concerned third party". We are aware of numerous staff members that actually post in this forum alongside students - most contributing normally but some may try appear "neutral" in arguments when in reality its far from it. These will be dealt with on a case by case basis at the moderators discretion.

In short, the specific guidelines for this forum are:-

    Please don't:
    • Make a statement without being able to back it up.
    • Attack any individual forum poster or WIT Staff Member (including lecturers and union members)
    • Talk using "txt spk" - its much easier for everyone to read normal text rather then trying to guess what your abbreviations mean.
    • The use of excessive inappropriate language - its a family site folks and if you cant contribute without being vulgar, then your better not contributing at all.

General Boards.ie Posting Guidelines apply here. If you have not read these, we suggest you do so.

All in all, common sense helps a lot. The above are guidelines - If you are acting out of what could be considered 'normal behaviour', don't be surprised if you get a holiday from the forum.

If you have any concerns about how the forum is run; please contact one of the moderating team (Mods, or if that fails, the CMods). Please do not disrupt the forum by posting such issues here. This is standard Boards.ie procedure.

If you are a newly registered user on Boards.ie and not adhering to any of the above, expect to get banned. Do not expect us to care if you have something to "add" to a thread. If you can't converse with your peers here, then please don't join in. Expect to be treated like a "n00b" if you act like one.

We strongly suggest taking a read of the Newbies & FAQ forums if you are new to Boards.

Charter completely revised. Most Boards.ie regulars should be okay as its similar to most forums, but for those who do not venture out of this forum or are new here should read the revised charter.

    Thanks.
