    Aghh.

I was having a few problems with my gfx card. I took off the heatsink and reapplied some paste. Placed it back into the slot and powered up. No output on the screen and then the card started beeping the way it does when the temp gets too high or the fan speed is too low (9600 pro btw).
So I pull out the card recheck the HSF and put her back in. Same thing.
To make sure i reboot no card using the onboard vid but nothing. The power doesn't even come on, no fans, zip. I move the jumpers around pull out all the drives and pull out the power cord and put it back in etc.

Then all of a sudden she powers up but i'm back to the original situation where there's no video output (on the AGP or onboard). Then once or twice the power flicks on and off rather worringly.
I'm really worried now and reckon it could be either the PSU or the mobo (specifically the AGP slot).

Has anyone any suggestions? My mate has a shuttle and I'm might try his PSU today or tomorrow. Other than that I'm really stuck.

    details:

    Shuttle SB61G2 Anniversary Ed
    P4 2.6GHz
    2x256MB OCZ 3200 DDR
    TYAN Tachyon Radeon 9600 Pro

yeah, if i'm available, i'll drop in with my shuttle and we can hook the psu up.
but if it magically breaks my psu, you have to buy me a whole new pc AND a magnum icecream.
