Not sure if this is the right area to post this question, but couldn't find anywhere else. I heard a rumour today that the council were planning to widen the crossroads in Dundrum village (the one that the ballinteer road meets the sandyford road). This would make a lot of sense as I cannot see how the existing infrastructure could cope with the new Shopping Centre set to open next year. However, they would need to demolish a good few very old terrace houses and possibly some listed cottages... Has anybody else heard anything about this?
