    Hmm... What's peoples opinions on fretless guitars? You don't really see them that often at all. Definetly intruiging altogether, and something I might entertain the notion of trying to fiddle about with. Maybe I could buy some old peice of junk and defret it for larks?

    Just don't underestimate how hard fretless playing is. If you're even a couple of mm out, it sounds dreadful. It's a brave man who'd venture north of where the 12th fret used to be on a fretless guitar.

    Very noisy. There wouldn't be enough of a radius on the strings to only hit one at a time.
