Well I think Sir Alex Ferguson has to be congratulated ahead of his 1,000th game in charge, it is some achievement to manage the one team for 1,000 games.

From those 1,000 competitive games he has achieved:

    8 Premierships
    5 FA Cups
    1 Champions League.

Even ABU's have to give respect to that.

    Fair Play.

Hail the King, some achievement, good to see the likes of Wenger, Capello et al coming out and congratulating him.
Hopefully we get the right result tonight to top it

I was watching the interview with him on Sky Sports there last night. 1,000 is an unbelievable achievement at such a successful club like United. Not many managers will reach the milestone in their carrers let alone at a big club. He may have alot of haters, but he should still be respected as one of the most successful managers ever.

    Long may it last. :)

Wonder will he send a bottle of champagne to Mark Robbins.

A fantastic achievement - he has made some blunders as well but they have beem far outweighed by the positives.
