MSN gone bang in postgrad res

    Anyone else having problem getting MSN to connect in the postgrad residence? Haven't been able to connect for a while now - have the ports been blocked?

    no, the ports haven't been blocked. you can connect using either a http proxy (proxy.dcu.ie port 8080) which hasnt been blocked obviously or you wouldn't get the internet, or you can use a socks proxy (proxy.dcu.ie port 1080) either will work fine, if they don't the prob is with ur machine
