    i went on to ebay a few hours ago a i was thinking if i got cgi.ebay.com/ws/ebayisapi.dll?viewitem&category=60837&item=573207423&rd=1

    i have ntl digital here in dublin. if i got it would i be able to get the english channels because the ntl uk card is included.and if i cant get the uk channels can i use it i another room

    No, you would definitely not get any other channels on it such as the english ones. (If you get anything viewable at all that is.)

    It's all very illegal anyway, especially seeing as the box is always property of ntl, therefore nobody has permission to sell/buy it.

    Indeed. NTL own their boxes, they are not your property to tamper with. Also, he shouldnt be selling an NTL box either.
