Odd problem this , Bros pc crappy Iqon thing with Celeron and P4r8l board http://www.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=Pundit-R&langs=01 (9100 IGP and built in sound)

Whenever the modem is used and theres no phone line inserted PC shuts down instantly, Modem is PCI and Pc has 200watt PSU.

My thinking is when PCI Moden engaged and fails on the 2nd retry there not enough power hence PC instantly shuts down.

    PSU powers @ Vcore 1.325 5V is 4.6 12 is 11.2

Just doesnt seem to be able to power the mobo and PCi devices at same time, tis odd problem , anyone had it before?

Cant open PC as its only few weeks old and i want him to bring it back and buy a proper pc :)

I've heard of pci devices drawing to much power and causing a restart. Just bring it back ASAP and get a refund.

That my good man is the plan , 200w not enough for the system as he wants more ram and a PCI G card thats better than 9100.

    So tis not good enough.

Insist on a refund, dont be fobbed off !!!

200W is a joke these days - minimum should be 300W especially with everything on board
