    Translated using http://babelfish.altavista.com/
    Now test: Knoppix PCGH edition
04.11.2004 09:37 o'clock - Linux is for many players still another unknown size: a sluggish 3D-Support, few plays and a heavy configuration are the usual plates. But the times changed: The particularly developed Knoppix version, which is on the booklet DVD 12/2004 from PCG hardware, has more than 30 plays and 3D-Unterstuetzung for Ati and Nvidia Grafikkarten on board.

The Clou: They put simply our booklet DVD in the drive assembly and to boats of it the computer. After few minutes the Linux operating system is loaded. Now you can play (30 plays), work (Openoffice.org) as well as in the InterNet surfen (Mozilla, Konquerer). Besides you knew data with the Knoppix PCGH edition access to your non removable disk and to so possibly secure.

Hopefully I can find an english version of it. The above site is a German site. I'll post if I can find it.

Slightly more Engish-sounding translation if the above is not clear ;)

Linux is still an unknown quantity for many gamers: sluggish 3d-support, few games and laborious configuration are the usual complaints/stereotypes. But times have changed: This specially-developed version of Knoppix, available on the cover-DVD of the December 2004 issue of PCG Hardware, comes with more than 30 games and 3d-support for ATI and nVidia cards.

The best bit: Siply insert the cover-DVD into your DVD-ROM drive and boot the PC from it. After a few minutes, the Linux OS is loaded. you can now play (over 30 games), work (OpenOffice.org) as we ll as surf the web (Mozilla, Konqueror). Moreover, Knoppix PCGH edition gives you access to your hard drive, allowing you to save/back-up data.
