Can anyone even suggest a make or better a model for in and around a grand.

I do but id prefair to go someplace else than dell, just for the imediacy of it rather then waiting about for it to be delivered

your paying for the immediacy you want the laptop if you buy from a highstreet store, i reckon if you dont want to go to dell then www.elara.ie are a good place to look.

http://www.elara.ie/products/detailsfull.asp?productcode=ECS984508&productID=110555 aint bad although the graphics card isnt what you want, i'd say for a grand you'd be hard pushed to ge ta laptop thats good for gaming.
