Did anyone see how Pat Kenny called us Stab City on air last week. I didnt see it, but was told he said it, just wanted to know if anyone did....

Heard something on the radio this morning. Ray D'Arcy was saying that Tommy Tiernan was banned from an appearance on the Late Late next month.

Someone texted in to say it was alright for Kenny to slag off Limerick but not for Tommy Tiernan to slag off the church.

Isnt it a joy to know that the licence fee that is forced upon us and the taxes we pay go to pay monkies like him, who obviously havent a clue about presenting a chat show. And the funny thing is there is a shed load in RTE with that ineptitude and those that are talented seem to be forced into the menial work. Time that station got a DG that wasnt afraid to upset the old school boys.

Reading The Sun this mourning... even at a postive time they must resort to trying to down the city. Headline was something like, "Tourists flock to Stab City?", it was about how ppl are braving limerick, while the rest of the country is showing poor tourist rates!
But then it switched to being about Shannon Airport and the west of Ireland!

i really see that kinda stuff being less and less heard of in limerick (maybe it just got old or maybe we have less stabbings than we used to probably thanks to the break up of those families)

its all outdated , you can see that the rivals cities such as cork or Dublin try to keep a slag going that is really history and not taking effect anymore.

and Limerick is a lot safer , know matter what they call it . lol

its ironic , when limericks is on the fast lane , or there is good news about limerick, what do you think the media will behave as? , the same bull**** that they always say about Limerick . most of the Dubs that mouth off know feck alll ! i have witnessed it on so many occaisions and more than happy sticking to the truths !They just can beat Limerick. The sad thing is they think they have all the people in Limerick winded up! its laughable.

So what if they call limerick the stab city, we know it isn't and thats is that....
As for Pat why bother reacting to him, he inst well like nationally , so let him off with his famous fake laugh!!
