Thought this might appeal to those folk who like to put silly things in their cars. :p

Saw them at Dunnes grocery shop in Dun Laoghaire today.

Nope, sorry. I'll memorise the brand and model next time I'm there and post it.

It's a fairly basic player with a remote control and a leather pouch. Outputs for headphones and video signals. As the topic says, no screen, so I figured it's intended for use in a car or something.

Stay tuned for whatever details I can glean on my next visit there.

Dunnes were selling these a few weeks back, got all excited at the price as wasnt very clear if had screen or not at that time (should have know really!)

They are made by plustron but they are a small looking thing, a little flimsy so dont look they stand up to a gang of kids battering it in the back of a car!

Is it the same as the one I saw in Dunnes in Blanchardstown Centre - Plustron Protable DVD DN280 - €59.99 I think!. Haven't seen them in any other Dunnes...I have been in the Rathmines and Newbridge one!
Thought it wans't a bad bargain til I saw there was no screen.
