    How come the following IRISH movies have never been released on DVD in ireland but you can buy them on the net from different countries,

    The General
    The Snapper
    The Van
    Into The West

    i got the snapper for sale ten euro on dvd if any one is interested


    also a really rare version of the commitments 2 dvd box set/.
    tons of extras

    Yeah Ive definately seen the snapper on dvd - come to mention it Ive never seen the others on dvd anywhere!

    Ye you can buy into the west and the snapper and the general on the net but ive never seen them in shops, and ive asked in plenty of shops in the carlow/dublin area. HMV say that the general and the snapper have never been released on DVD and that you cant even get them on video anymore. If anyone knows of any shops in dublin that sell any of these i would be interested in hearing which ones?
