    Same here

I been using them for the last few months, you dial a 1890 (local rate) or 0818 (nationa rate) Charges.

I also noticed that they changed the number to dial for some of the coutries like Spain it was a Local rate on Monday but today it was a National rate so the numbers on the webpage are not up to date.

Still cheaper that others like tele2.ie

    Thanks

Says local rates* for the USA: * Local rate: Sa-Su: 1.26 ct/min
    Mo-Fr 6pm/8am: 1.26 ct/min
    Mo-Fr 8am/6pm: 4.92 ct/min

Does that mean if i called the USA now from home... i would only be charged 4.92ct/min? And likewise off peak 1.26ct and thats for US mobiles too?

I think I've been using it now for 4 months!!
Does exactly what it says, no hidden charges.

About calling US, yes it's hard to believe but it is true
US mobiles are consider just the same as landlines.
and it's 4.92 if you call now!

Did they change price to landline and mobile in the Philippines?
When I calll the 15eurocent a minute number, it says this call
via telestunt is 33eurocent a minute.. I quickly disconnected,
cos I didnt want to pay the price... My question is, does this
mean double billing? Or that 33cent call will never be connected
on the 15cent number, they just give information about it and
then you have to call the 33cent number instead?

They recently changed Brazil from local rate to national rate too...

It's still a very good rate though...

My parents were complaining about their telephone bill last weekend, so this is a handy post. I'll pass it on. Thanks a million

Anyone haveing problems getting it to work with the states recently? I cannot call a number in the states any more.

Are there other services like Telestunt in Ireland?

I've been using telestunt from my landline for a while now, great value. For some reason I cant ring the 1890 number from my mobile though, it just makes strange beeping noises.

Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to drop or add some numbers? I'm an o2 speakeasy customer.

    Thanks

The latter, as tele2 don't have control to change the pricing (rate per minute) of the calls, as that is fixed.

Budget Telecom have a similar service. The access number is 0818 240240. This hasn't been too reliable lately, but I just checked their site and they're advertising a new number, 0818 242526.

I should have mentioned that the Budget Telecom 0818 number is a national rate call of course!

Someone reported this post, my answer to it below for linesman as he isn't accepting PM's..
linesman ( http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/sendmessage.php?do=mailmember&u=42126 ) has reported this post:

This is part of this thread:
    telestunt
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?threadid=202578

This is the reason that the user gave:
This poster made a sweeping generalisation about Tele2. This is not good netiquette.

It's called freedom of speech. If you disagree with his statement, argue your case on the thread. Do you work for Tele2 by any chance?
