Anyone wanna do a set up?

I've just bought my new amp (spider112) and am 100% broke (christmas haha). I went into town to see how much to get my guitar set up and was quoted €30 without new strings as the lowest. Now, i'm not a stingebag, but after payin €400 in cash for the amp i thought that the shop might do it for €15 or €20 but no, "same price for everyone my friend".

So, as i need it set up, i was wondering, does anyone on the board wanna do it for me? I'll give them the €30 that i was quoted as long as they let me see exactly what they're doing so hopefully i'll never have to pay again.

    Anyone?

    OR

Maybe someone could give me an in-depth guide to it (Les Paul Standard) and a resource to buy the necessary tools from.

    Thanks in advance

    Emmet.

I've been looking at that amp too. Where'd you get it. It's 320 inc shipping on music123.com, but I suppose it's a bit late telling you that now :)

yeah 320 was the lowest price i could find it online, but it was by birthday and mammy and daddy gave me the extra €80 so i could have it there that day.

And no the shop wasn't the problem, may have made them come off worse than they were, oops, its just that the standard rate seems a bit high, and when i pointed out that it was he said thats how much everyone else charges and if you had of brought the guitar in when you got the amp i would've done it for free!

    too late now though
