anywhere where you can just get the fingerboard markers that are on les pauls (pic) so you could stick them on to a normal guitar with dots on the fingerboard. Thanks

arts and crafts shop, ask for small circular stickers

This place has a selection of them. http://www.stewmac.com/

But I don't think it would be a good idea to go tearing up the fretboard if you don't know what your doing. Even if you know what your doing it would be a pain.

If I was you man. don't waste your money on stickers. Save it. Buy yourself the real deal nice Gibson Les Paul :) I can assure its worth it. If you can hold out and pay the money. Like this one.

Me no have that kinda money. Think i'll go with the eiphone special 2 but hate the position of tone, volume ect. and most of all the dots on the fingerboard, but it still sounds good

Whip the dots out and fill it with identically coloured plastic wood. Leave the fretboard blank.

Try it on scrap would first. Drill the inlays out (assuming their circular), fill with rosewood or ebony plugs or sawdust and glue, sand and polish :D

    sounds tempting

Just be careful when you sand it out, sand always with the grain between the frets, cover your frets with a couple layers of making tape. If you sand cross grain you will put scratches in that will be almost impossible to get out. I would suggest using a flat bastard file to take down the majority first (this you can go across with until you are nearly touching the rest of the board) then start with 280, then 320, 400, 600 and 800 if on ebony, Oil it up afterwards and enjoy :)
