... didn't see last week's episode but being a huge fan of the first 3 series, it just looks terrible!

It needs Kurt, Brian and Simon back... which won't happen!

I didnt know that, now that I do, I agree as posted above The Simpsons, its just a vehicle for whoever happens to guest star that episode.

Kinda agree with you there but it's only been on 4 weeks so I decided it probably to early to lump it in with the jumpers.

By the way are we using the definition of "jumping the shark" as in "when it peaked" or "when it went downhill bigtime"?

I'll use the second definition here as it seems to be the common usage even though the website cites the first definition.

Teachers Season 4, definitley the Simpsons. Angel when they took over Wolfram and Hart. I thought Six feet under jumped the shark in Season 3, but they turned themselves around with the 4th season. Sliders when Professor Arturo died. Power Rangers Zeo

You can only really tell when a show jumped, a few years later really.

I'm going to have to agree that the Simpson has gone downhill. It was once the best show on the tele, now it just sort of is there (with the occasional good episode).

Yeah and WTF has happened to BOB lad!?!?! holy **** every time he speaks it makes me cringe at how sad he is!suppose its good stuff but the show has defineately declined!Probably goes hand in hand with practically changing the entire cast!

Yeah Teachers has been absolute pants this season. It used to be that I'd only notice things going on in the background now and then. But since the stories got so dull, the only thing I look at is the background stuff... which itself gets boring after a while!

Yeah, i was a huge Teachers fan. Watched it from the very beginning..

But this series has been utter crap. Last week's episode was probably the best of the lot - with Ping arriving. Last night's episode was probably one of the worst!

I'll probably keep watching every week in the hope of it somewhat improving.

I'm afraid any laugh-out loud humour in 'Teachers' left with Kurt and Brian.

PS - Also noticed this series that the humour in it has gotten very crude. I mean it was always somewhat crude with Brian and Kurt but this series just seems to be wall-to-wall dick jokes.

Malcolm in the Middle - not as funny as it used to be any more. Not sure if it jumped this year, or in previous seasons, but it's nowhere near as good as it used to be.

It's come up before, but The Simpsons has definitely jumped by now, but again, not necessarily this year.
