    Anyone see this last night, caught it by accident really, could'nt find the remote and was too stoned to change the channel. Excellent film, Billy Bob Thorntons performance was outstanding as the french fried tater loving retard. Always thought from the title that it was some sort of action film.

    Same here just stumbled on it, sounded fimiliar so said i d give it a go. His performance was outstanding!Missed what he said to the guy at the end cause a drunkin rabble of relatives poured into the room!

    I missed it but I've seen it a few times before, Billy Bob is excellent but so was the kid (from American Gothic), I wonder what hes been up to lately?

    It is an exceptionaly good film, saw it before on video and like others here just stumbled upon it last night. Billy Bob won an oscar for best adapted screenplay for it. It's available on Region 1 dvd from Amazon.co.uk
