    Ok People

OK "Night Shots" wins the first round.

    Rules:
Photo must be taken after sunset / before sunrise.
Basic edits in a art package of your choice to include:
    Sharpness/ soften
    Brightness/ contrast
    Cropping

No filters or any external graphic elements on picture
Any borders are permitted, also Frames

    cloning also permitted

[EDIT Rules] All pictures for the Night Shots Challenge should be taken between the dates of entry, any pictures taken before or after these dates will be DQ'd from the challenge. Challenge Dates are 15th November 2004 to 5th December 2004. The winning Entry will need the date confirmation. If Digital entry the original can be sent to me via email so we can check the EXIF Data. This makes it a fair challenge and makes it so all entries are taken within the same time period and no one is digging up there best shot ever from 5 years past :D Sorry to anybody who has submitted a picture before hand :(

All entried via email to me must included the following:-
    A) Location picture is taken.
    B) Date Picture is taken.
    C) Camera settings if able.
    D) If requested for confirmation keep your original camera picture in unedited form so we can check picture is legit and not taken years ago or nicked from the web.
Any picture found to come from the web will be DQ'd (If we get a sub board set up for this then cheats will be banned for the following challenge? any thoughts??)

Remember no prizes are availble as this is for fun and learning but we can assign a ribbon for 1st, 2nd,3rd = Gold, Silver, Bronze etc..
and maybe a rep point for the gold winner (Just a thought)

Please Send all pictures to BoardsPhotoChallenge@gmail.com and I will post so no one knows whos photo is whos and it will not bias the challenge voting. send me the Photo Edit information and this will be posted with the entries after voting is complete
I will post to ImageCave in good time

Try to include all edits when posting your picture after the winning entry is selected and also try to post your original shot so we can compare the difference in the edit/ final shot you enter.

Entry to be no bigger on any side than 700px, size will be limited by this in any case.

Only one entry per person and one vote per person:
    Voting will be as follows:-
All pictures sent to the above address will be posted on ImageCave.
On voting week all entries will be listed in a poll and picture with the most votes at he end of voting will win. Only one vote per person and no voting for your own picture!!! We can not tell if you have voted for your own pic so be nice and honest [Remember no winners come from cheating  ]

All entries to be taken and posted from 15th November 2004 to 5th December 2004
voting will be the week after the 5th December.
any ideas or comments/questions please PM me and i will review

Go forth and take pictures....good luck

Please keep an eye here for any updates or changes. I will try and keep these to a minimum for now and will review after the first challenge, Please PM an ideas to make this better :D

Just letting ye know that I had submittted my entry before it was clear that ye only wanted entries that were taken after the challenge started, mine wasn't, so feel free to disqualify it.
