ATI CAT 4.12 beta drivers are out

Apologies if this has been posted but haven't come across it:

The ATI CAT 4.12 betas are out and you can get them here . They have been released to coincide with a certin game that will be released tomorrow?

Good reports about these drivers so far.

Yeah i have been reading reports that peoples FPS in countre Strike Source have gone up by 15fps. But i have also heard of people who have had problems with these drivers.

installed them on Friday night, and they seem to have sorted out my problems with Call Of Duty MP freezing randomly.

Yeah that problem was caused by Punk Buster. Also affects other games like Far Cry afaik. It can be turned off in the cod game settings but is now fixed with the 4.12's. They are beta's so may cause problems but I'll give them a go anyway.

I've been getting cli.exe errors on all cat drivers from 4.10 on, blue screens, games freezing, sickness fear and death... something to do with ms,net framework 1.1 I believe - the cat drivers only give me a bump of about 150 in 3dmark05, so I'm reluctant to try the beta's - didn't the 4.11 only come out in October?
