My friend and I are trying to connect two PS2s so we can play Star Wars Battlefront with a full screen each. We have two PS2s, two copies of the game, two tvs and a network adapter for each machine. We tried running a cable between each machine (Network Adapter to Network Adapter) but it didn't work. Do I need a router? Or a switch? Does the router need to be connected to the internet? I don't have broadband but my understanding is that I don't need one to play head to head over a LAN. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    JJ
