I spent the afternoon making an indoor model. I will fly it in the evenings :D ( after dark) :D during the week :D while it's cold outside :D or maybe even raining as well :D

RC aero modelling just gets better and better :) we can do soooo much that was recently impossible.

Anyone who is interested in flying indoors (sorry but you must have your own model) send me a private message and we can let you know times, dates, place, etc.

    Here are two pics.
This is a "Little Party" :) it is intended for "very tight spaces"
The wings are built up to minimise weight, and have massive undercamber.

This model is an ARF, cost EUR 100 and that included the aircraft, ready covered, the engine, gearbox, and prop.
Battery was about EUR 20, would have been more but I soldered up the pack myself after buying good cells. Speed controller is top quality at EUR37.

Spent about EUR 150 in total, no freight, got it in the shop, (would have been more if I had to add another EUR40 for two sub micro servos.) but I had the receiver and servos already, took them from another model. ;)

If looks are everything, I would not have picked this model, but it's how well it flies slow that counts....

Earlier tonight I took it up to the local hall.
Centre of gravity test .. uh oh .... battery in front of wheels, nose heavy, battery rear of wheels tail heavy. What to do, I didn't want to go home for last adjustments.
Finally I put the battery in the front, and set maximum elevator to lift the nose on turns.
Down onto the floor, wind up throttle, down the hall accellerating nicely, and then a tip of up elevator and away she flew. :D

Ok considering, the CG was quite a bit out, I can get to like this a lot :)

Descriptions can be boring. Next time I'll see if a video clip can be recorded for posting.
    Coolwings.
