following on from that whole "newcastle can't defend to save their lives" vibe i was feeling in the other thread, i wonder if they are regretting selling him now?

i know he is injury prone, but when he was in the side, newcastle looked like a whole different team. he actually managed to make the rest of them look competent!

i think when hes fit hes one of the best in europe. it will be interesting to see how his career develops from this point....

Even if they didnt sell him, he would have been no use so far. He hasnt played a game this season yet.

There were all sorts of rumours circulating as to the reason for his suspiciously quick exit . If true Newcastle are better off without him in the long term.

He's not going to be back until january and he's extremely prone to picking up injuries. Newcastle were right to sell him.

Aparently Madrid are going to report Newcastle under the consumers act for 'selling goods not of merchantable quality' :D .

At first I was angry at the sale but now im delighted.............shame for Woodgate though , I hope he isn't forced into early retirement :( .

Looks like the journalist was right:

I can't remember who exactly the journalist was but he was talking about Woodgate's injury well before he was linked to Madrid.

It could turn out to be a great deal for the Toon, it's already a good one.

Football365 are saying souness will make a move for Boumsoung....doubt theyll get him tho, he has money to spend.....if they were offering 20 mil for rooney they must have a bit of cash to splash. don't know why OBrien isnt startin ahead of bramble, he make far too many mistakes for me.....
