    now ,

do you thinks kids these days are actin' a bit too ghetto, Like you see kids in there L.A. hats , Craq most of these kids can't tell the difference between the L.a. Clippers And L.a. lakers.

and you see them walkin' down da street in black hoodeys with some Eminem **** in there ear like they don't know who N.W.A. are.

then theres da lingo , you can easily hear kids these days say things like "dogg" , "that ****s hype", and when they pick up the phone "who dat?"

that **** only really annoys me especially when they don't know anythin' about the scene ask them who Easy E was they probably won't know. or who Jay Z is and you get a "dunno"

    i hate dat ignorance

    But they're kids!

Leave them alone. I'm sure you weren't politically correct all the time when you were younger. Kids or teenagers often behave in certain ways that mimic the behavior of their idols. It makes them feel better and can often be used to earn respect amongst their peers. They can often do it to escape their reality, which may may not be comfortable for some reason or another. You never know!. You can make your judgements, but keep them to yourself, because if it's not hurting anyone else, nobody is really going to give a S H I T wink.gif

But then again, you are probably going to turn around and tell me that you think this behavior is OK. And the fact is that they are not "mimicing" these ppl in a manner that up to your standards. I'm sorry your standards are so high, but again I urge you to refer to the first thing I said in this post!

    MAN read my point right:

that **** only really annoys me especially when they don't know anythin' about the scene ask them who Easy E was they probably won't know. or who Jay Z is and you get a "dunno"

i don't mind kids mimicing its cool for them , but they don't know what there coping you see.

    Eh?, Ooooookkkaaaaayyyyyy wink.gif

you obviously should go back and read my reply again. You are after quoting the 2 lines that I have a problem with, in your last post.

But to save you the time, I am going to ask you this. Why the FUK would you bother asking them such stupid questions. You are only going to make them uncomfortable. The kids you are reffering to, are quite happy with their behavior. They are not hurting anybody. Do they honestly have to be correct all the time. Can you not leave them alone and let them do what they want. But of course, and I quote again (a 3rd time in this thread, ladies and gentlemen)

    </font>

    Let's assess this.......

You say that it annoys you when they don't know anything In Your Opinion. To me they seem quite happy with what they are doing. Regardless if it is in fact correct or not. That is not the issue, but in your opinion, you clearly think it is.

If a child believes in Santa, does that give you the right to tell him/her otherwise, just because you think it's stupid, or the fact that it isn't true??????????.

    That is my point!

phobos, don't let your self get aggravated with a topic like this....
why does this annoy you superman?

unless you're from the LA ghetto yourself, you're no better than the eminem fans who u hate, so don't think you're superior to them just because you have been listening to rap longer.

    deal with it
thats just the way it is wink.gif

Illkillya you're probably right, I do lose my temper too fast.

It seems to me your tryin to make yourself feel high and mighty, just because your knowledge of Easy E and Jay T, but to be fair people like music for its beat and rythem and not trivia about the musicians!
And who cares if they talk like that it's what they want to do!
So don't beat down on peeps because of that!

Just as a matter of interest - what age are you Superman?

Who died and gave you the right to tell people what they can or can’t ware?
Just because someone doesn’t know something about Jay Z, Easy E, Donkey D, Happy H or any other letter of the alphabet dose not mean they don’t have the right to dress or talk anyway they wish.

Good point Dave, - well put!

I'd also think it would be relevant here to know what age you are, "Superman"... and why you feel so superior to people who don't know who NWA are.

I am old enough to know who they are ( and to know they're shit too wink.gif ) - that doesn't make me any better than someone who doesn't know of them and sings Eminem's praises all the time.

It's only music. (... well ... some of it is!) Chill da fluck out smile.gif

You know, I'm perfectly happy in my musical elitism... There are very few people who listen to the same music as me, and I like it this way.
    It's... Cosy...

But you sir are just as bad as the kids...
You seem to be acting all arsey fartsy giving out to the kids, and seem "Cool" by doing so...

    I agree with Phobos here...
