Bruxelles, just of Grafton street, is a pretty decent bar for decent music (mostly metal/hard rock).

Bruxxells is a kip hole. But a good one. If your really into your rock go to Fibbers, on Parnells square. Now thats good metal!

Porter house is nice too, at the outskirts of temple bar.

Bruxelles would be fine if it wasn't full of smelly rockers who, for some strange reason, think they're cool..

Doyles is alright too, cause you have a choice of about 10 other places to go to if it's shít. Except they charge club prices for drinks so expect almost a fiver per point.

Those were such great CHEAP nights out. At one stage the big tree was doing a quid a shot of Vodca and then you headed on to the temple theatre with your gold card to get in for free.

even if u forgot ur card, u could make like you were going to pay
and then scuttle up behind the pillars and get in for free anyway.

i'm still in college but getting a few bob for the research but it must
be pretty expensive to be back in 1st yr again.

out stomachs were strong and up for anything.

    Now theres nowhere!!
Gonna go mad! only place with cheap drink near DCU is Barcode in Westwood, Fairview (€3 a drink on thurs), but i work there, so that rules that out!! Man i miss cheap drink!
