    Do directly answer your question, the answer is yes. However, all of Ireland should be able to receive all Sky Digital services with a 60cm dish provided it is aligned correctly (some parts can get away with a 45cm dish, but are vunerable to heavy showers). Also an increase in signal strength and quality will not improve your received picture quality unless what you were receiving was fringe to start with.

    What signal strength do people in the dublin area on average receive from astra with an 80 cm dish?

    it may not increase at all, that meter on the digibox is only a rough guide
