The rinks in the RDS and Smithfield will both be open soon. I've never managed to get to either yet, but definately going this year.

I was just wondering what do people who've been think of them? Are they worth it? Is there much difference between them? Would you recommend one over the other?

I haven't gone ... but I'd be wary about going ... because they are so rare it seems they tend to be crowded all the time.

went twice or thrice last year in smithfield and it can be a great laugh. Thing is, sometimes its packed and sometimes it isnt, and it isnt half as good when its full. The ice gets all watery (!) and it becomes so much harder to skate on. Not to mention you can hardly go anywhere.Still a good laugh and definitely worth it. Just try to go off peak.
