Suggestion for the SuitedAces web-site..

[Tried unsuccessfully to post this on the SuitedAces web-site - Maybe a FireFox issue?]

It struck me while I was waiting for an industrious person to post the latest business league results on the poker forum on boards.ie, that the one thing really missing from the Irish poker scene is a web-site which posts the results of poker tournaments as soon as they are available.

What better way of attracting a large group of amateur poker enthusiasts, then to be the first to publish the results of recent low to medium profile tournaments, such as the BSOP, Business League, Suited Aces tournies and potentially some of the tournaments run by the Casinos themselves.

We know how reliable the Casinos are at updating their webs-sites (not!), so I'm sure they'd be keen to fire off a results e-mail to SuitedAces, as it would bring extra publicity to the club..

You could have fun with it (a la HendonMob) and introduce features like poker player of the month, player profiles, largest monthly winnings etc..

Just a suggestion! It would be a very different offering to the boards.ie poker forum, and guarantee frequent visitors to the site..

Of course, being able to post in the SA forum would also be a bonus. ;)

Dunno whats up with not being able to post but we are trying to get the casinos to mail us their results every week but thats tougher then you might imagine!
(even getting our own up would be an improvement, though thats my fault and I need to get that sorted!).

In short, yes thats a good idea!

    DeV.

As Tom says, trickier than you would expect. We would actually have to have someone there to collect the results for us as the Casinos are really geared ujp to providing us with an email summary.

Bugger I'll investigate that forum problem. Any error Krusty?
As to casino results I hope to provide them with very easy ways of sending us their results and in turn record the names and placings. Then we could possibly come up with some kind of points system to rank players for some kind of player of the year type situation. Very dependent on the casinos of course.

You could, of course, just ask.

I could ask Ken at the Macao in Cork. We have 3-4 tournaments a week (3 regular nights and 1 fairly frequent night). 5-6 tables in the tourney and 1-2 cash tables after 11pm on t, f, sun (weds is the occasional night)
