I've been surfing smut on my pc, and I have been having problems with it(surprise surprise).

My homepage keeps defaulting to some bullsh*t site, not the one that I have specified in Internet options(Google, of course!). Everytime I do a search on Google, another poxy website comes up called "www.enchancemysearch . com" don't click on this just in case. And it searches there also.
And, when I click on one of the Google Search results, it brings up some mortgage loan page, again and again.

Please help my dumb ass to get this crapola off my pc.

    -Ken

Google for adaware and/or spybot search and destroy... oh wait you can't! :D

    Ok here's adaware anyway -> http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware

Not sure what the best proggy for removing browser-hijacks is these days tbh.

I had adaware installed. I had done a sweep with it, and it had picked up alot of adware and spyware. But, I have just installed Spysweeper, and it's after finding a stack of stuff that adaware didn't. I'd say it's the definition file that adaware is using is old.

    Cheers lads.

Give Firefox a spin. There's no spyware for it.

if its home search, its nasty, do a google for "home search removal" and it'll point you in the right direction.

XP sp2 isn't affected by it.

I heartily endorse this product and/or promotion.

    No, seriously.

 The companys or people who make up them
spyware and adware programs should be brought out
to the middle of a field. Lined up against a wall and
shot in the back of the head. One bullet. Bang Bang!!!
And one thing i'v noticed is that alot of pop-up are to
    do with adware removers.

could be an entry was written to your hosts file that keeps redirecting you to some crappy site whenever you try to go to your home page. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\ and open hosts thru notepad or some other editor. Check the ip addresses in it and see if there's anything there along the lines of where you're being redirected. If there's something there you're unsure of comment it out (better to comment out rather than delete until you're sure that's what's causing the problem) and save. I think you'll need to restart Windows before you can see if it worked. The same type of thing happend to me before, everytime I tried to go to any main stream anti virus site like Symantec I was redirected to localhost and as I don't have a webserver running got "site not found" etc. Also download and run Stinger, excellent small utility from McAfee thats very handy for finding worms & trojans which are often behind hijacking. You can find it here http://download.nai.com/products/mcafee-avert/stinger.exe .
Finally, gotta agree with all the previous comments, get rid of IE and go Firefox, a hell of a lot more secure than IE!
