    It's half time in Turner's X.

    Cork 2 - 2 Drogehda

After 3 mins Cork had a man sent off for a professional foul, and Drogs went 1-0 up from the resultant free kick.

Eight minutes later Cork were level.

On 21 it was 1-2, but two minutes later Drogs themselves had a man sent off.

Ten minutes from half time Cork levelled it.

    Come on Drogs!

what a cracking game last night! got off to an explosive start when Alan Bennet was sent off for a professional foul on Declan O Brien, cracking free kick by myler to open the scoring.

than dan murray got a free header at the back post to equalise, declan o brien then lobbed the city keeper from 30 yards, what a goal!!

then o brien was sent off for an off the ball incident with george o callaghan, i didn't see it TBH. then i saw it on EL Weekly after and it looked a but harsh, he just walked into o'callaghan and he made the most of it.

so ten men each and the game really opened up, john o flynn then equalised, and liam kearney popped up just after the restart to get what proved to be the winner.

if only all el games were like this!

DONT REMEMBER A 1ST HALF QUITE AS EXPLOSIVE AS THAT ONE EVER. (bloody caps).

The sending off was borderline IMO. Ive seen many refs just booking a player for that. No doubting the class of Mylers free kick though.

I felt that once the ref sent Bennett off, he was under pressure to 'level the playing field'. O brien was harshly sent off, but you could see that George was rising and rising him throughout.

City showed the class of champions last night. Unfortuntley, silly points dropped to nothing outfits like CHF and Shams have cost City the title. I cant see Shels not picking up 4 points from the remaining games.

Next season will be a cracker.
