When are the Powerbook updates?

I'm interested in buying a Powerbook. I'll only be able to afford one in December, but I don't think there's much of a point in me buying one then if there'll be a new revision out in January or February.

Has anyone got any idea when the next revision will be out? Where's a good place to look?

I bought mine two months ago and at the time checked to see what was happening. From what I could gather mac users love to speculate but Apple seldom satisfy until there is a surprise unveiling

Check on www.macrumors.com ... lotta stuff there turns to truth, doubt we'll see g5 powerbooks until at least second quarter 2005 though.

Alright. If that's the case, then I'm getting a 17" Powerbook in December :)

Yeah, there're a couple of key dates when updates can be expected - the one in Jan (SF?), NAB in Summer and the Paris one in early Autumn all spring to mind.

There is never a right time to buy a computer.

Perhaps, but some times are less wrong than others.
