Extend File Transfer Timeout

Me and a friend connected our two houses up on a LAN using wireless. (Less than 1km apart) The wireless connection works fine (2 megabytes transfer per second) but sometimes there is interference and the connection drops. If it gets bad and we are transferring a large file it eventually times out and we get a timeout error message.

I would love to know if anybody knows a way of extending the timeout value so I will not have to start the transfer again. Im nearly sure there is just a simple registry value I need to change.
