Database Project Problem PLEASE HELP!!!

    hey everyone

    i have a database to creat in MS Access for college. Its a furniture ordering store - to cut to the problem basically there are like 5 products to choose from and i have combo boxes allowing selection of different quantities for each product.If more than 4 products is ordered (not all of the same type) then a discount of 5% is applied.I dont have a clue how to implement this. I would usually do it as an If statement in VB but how is it done in Access.

    I know its hard to advise on this without seeing the overall database etc but any help would be greatly appreciated because i cant go any further without this

    mate this isn't really a computer problem. .. its a programming problem and maybe as such it should be moved to programming ? ;)

    Are you doing this as an application within access or are you just creating a database and you want this to be a trigger in it that applies to any applications using the database.
